Alvin Kong

With more than 15 years (Since 2000) as a Serial Entrepreneur in Information Technology & Networking. Mr. Kong decides to setup OEM 89 Holdings in March 2023 with a keen sense to do our part towards achieving food sustainable development for our local consumer market after post COVID-19 Pandemic, He believes it’s essential to champion local food sustainability initiatives globally that aim to create new alternative food ingredient’s that promotes wellness and
good health.

Prior to establishing OEM 89 Holdings, Mr. Kong was a senior executive with two local SME firm (UBAC, Essence-Singapore) heading the Sales, Technical and Business Development Unit (2007-2023).

Mr. Kong is also a certified Data Centre Design Practitioner and Optical Network Specialist with key leading IT Component manufacturers. During his tenure Mr. Kong actively took part in a wide range of health care and hotel hospitality tech refresh pilot projects for various global hotel chains (such as Marriot International, Accor Group, Pan Pacific Hotel Group, Millennium Hotel Group, Yotel Hotel and Jumeirah etc..), Global Banks (such as ANZ, VTB, Citic Bank, FirstBank etc.), Large MNC and Singapore Government Agency.

Mr. Kong holds a 2nd Class Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Queensland University Of Technology (Australia) and currently attending his last semester MBA in Business Administration from Wawasan Open University (Malaysia).
